Atopic dermatitis is a very common type of skin problem that affects a very large number of the population all over the world, young and old, male or female. This skin disease can be chronic if not treated properly and if the person with the disease does not know how to take care of his or her skin, and is not knowledgeable enough of the causes and treatments of the skin problem.
There are actually a lot of causes, since this skin disease is a type of allergy, the person concerned should know what triggers the allergy, it can be food, the weather, pollen, animal fur or dander, some types of fabric, strong perfumes, soaps, detergents and a lot more. It is very crucial for a person who has atopic dermatitis to know proper hygiene and well-informed of the causes of the allergy.
